AMORÉ / Stories
Stories we
bring to life.
Five celebrations shaped around the people at their heart. Their places, their memories and their way of bringing everyone together.
01 / Alentejo
A Portuguese summer
Charlotte & James · United Kingdom
Charlotte and James lived in London, but a trip through the Alentejo was where they began imagining their wedding. They loved the long dinners, the whitewashed houses and the way everything seemed to slow down towards evening. They wanted their friends and family to share that experience.
We designed a weekend beginning with a welcome dinner among olive trees. For the wedding, we chose shades of butter yellow, green and terracotta, wooden tables, natural linen and Portuguese ceramics.
Charlotte loved antique markets; James was passionate about food. Those two influences inspired tables with different ceramic pieces and a menu of Portuguese flavours served for sharing.
Each guest received a small handmade serving dish. A piece intended to bring people together around a table again, back at home.
02 / Lisbon
Between Paris and Lisbon
Camille & Miguel · France and Portugal
They met in Paris and built their relationship between two cities and two languages. Camille loved fashion, flowers and little neighbourhood restaurants. Miguel wanted a wedding with the warmth and energy of family gatherings in Portugal. They chose Lisbon to bring both worlds together.
We created a dinner in a palace with a garden, with ivory tablecloths, silver, flowers in wine and dusty rose shades, and menus in Portuguese and French. Elegant tables sat comfortably alongside a warm, relaxed welcome.
The seating plan recalled the cafés and restaurants where they had shared important moments, with a short memory of each place. During the cocktail hour, French and Portuguese musical references chosen by the couple could be heard.
At midnight, freshly warmed pastéis de nata arrived. It was the detail Miguel had asked for at the very first meeting.
03 / Sintra
A palace just for them
Victoria & Alexander · United Kingdom
Victoria and Alexander lived in London and chose Sintra to bring their guests together for three days. She fell in love with the palace gardens and architecture; he imagined a weekend with time to welcome each person with care.
We designed the celebration around the setting: an ivory and green palette, generous floral arrangements, bespoke linen tablecloths and silver pieces. At dinner, personalised menus and napkins embroidered with each guest’s initials made every place feel special.
The weekend began with a welcome dinner on the terrace. On the wedding day, a string quartet accompanied the ceremony and dinner took place in the garden, beneath lighting designed to reveal the palace façade.
For Victoria, the table mattered most. For Alexander, it was hospitality. So we devoted equal attention to the dinner design, transfers and guests’ comfort throughout their stay.
04 / Atlantic coast
Three days by the Atlantic
Olivia & Benjamin · United States
With family and friends travelling from several cities, Olivia and Benjamin wanted more time with their guests than a single day would allow. They chose Portugal to turn their wedding into a shared journey, with the ocean always close by.
We designed three moments with the same identity: a relaxed welcome dinner, a wedding in a garden overlooking the sea and a farewell brunch.
Olivia preferred simple lines and neutral shades; Benjamin wanted live music and a lively party. We worked with a sand, white and grey-blue palette, light flowers, linen and glass. At nightfall, lighting made the garden more intimate and the band started the party.
In their rooms, guests found a message from the couple and a small guide to their favourite places. They wanted everyone to have time to discover the country that had won their hearts.
05 / Douro
The house where we gathered the world
Isabella & Gabriel · United States and Portugal
Isabella and Gabriel had friends and family across several countries. They chose a property in the Douro for an intimate wedding, with accommodation reserved for their closest guests and a programme designed around spending time together.
Isabella loved art and objects with a history; Gabriel collected wines and valued gastronomy. We created an atmosphere in cream, brown and deep green, with furniture chosen for each area, handmade ceramics and organically shaped flowers.
Dinner was designed with the chef, with wine pairings connected to the couple’s memories. At each place, a small commissioned ceramic piece served as both a place marker and a keepsake.
After dessert, guests found an intimate bar, sofas and live music. The following morning, a leisurely breakfast beside the vineyards brought the weekend to a close — with the same sense of care with which they had been welcomed.
